Before coming to twelve14 Studios, Shannon spent time as a U.S. Army communications expert, an English professor, journalist, event coordinator and freelance graphic designer / web developer. His passion for the English language coupled with his knowledge of design and computers has helped Shannon position himself as a copywriter as well as a usability/user experience specialist. Currently he is working on his first book and plans to continue writing throughout his career.
He obtained his B.S. in Advertising from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh (AiP) and holds several diplomas and certificates in areas such as leadership, web usability and network communications. He plans on attending Carnegie Mellon University for his M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction. Shannon is also multilingual; speaking English, Spanish and Korean and is excited to work internationally again in the future.
